Communication Drone – Concept & Look Development

This project was created as part of a fictional sci-fi setting for the Cool Age Universe.
The goal was to design a modular communication and transmission drone that feels both functional and visually grounded within a cinematic environment.

The focus was on combining a clean mechanical base design with believable surface detailing, sensor logic, and a strong overall silhouette.

A key part of the process was the transition from raw render to final image.
The comparison highlights how much impact lighting, environment, and compositing have on the final result.

The workflow combines a traditional 3D pipeline with iterative look development:

Base modeling and setup in Cinema 4D
Rendering with Corona Renderer
Final lighting, atmosphere and compositing adjustments in post

Currently exploring hybrid workflows that merge 3D, compositing and AI-assisted techniques to achieve faster, high-quality cinematic results.

Currently open to full-time opportunities, freelance projects, and collaborations.
